You can also look at the 'A' and 'A' flat keys near the top of the clarinet. If the number is above 50,000, it is likely an R13. Didn´t notice a significant difference between my current clarinet and the Noblet I used to play with. ![]() They are quite nice instruments, somewhat heavier than my Buffet, which isn´t surprisingly. I´ve played with them for about 15 years, before a switched to a Buffet E-11. Super Action 80 Series II, Series III and Reference horns are currently in production. Check your clarinet's serial number, located on the case or on a small stamp on the back of the barrel. Ive started playing with Noblet clarinets, don´t know which model. The Soprano, Baritone and Bass Mark VI saxophones were produced until serial #365000 in 1984, and Alto and Tenor Mark VI production ended (approximately) in 1975 at serial #239,595. ![]() Although, as the chart below illustrates, the Mark VI was produced until (roughly) serial #378000, this applies only to the Sopranino model.
